escritura concreta, visible y conclusa.
Luis Cernuda y agón o lucha literaria
AbstractThe present study aims to examine aspects of the agon (ἀγών) or literary struggle using Luis Cernuda as a reference. The agon is a Greek word that means struggle and was spread by Harold Bloom to refer to the literary struggle that occurs between the young poet and his predecessors. Low energy proton-proton scattering in effective field theory
Low energy proton-proton scattering is studied in pionless effective field
theory. Employing the dimensional regularization and MS-bar and power
divergence subtraction schemes for loop calculation, we calculate the
scattering amplitude in 1S0 channel up to next-to-next-to leading order and fix
low-energy constants that appear in the amplitude by effective range
parameters. We study regularization scheme and scale dependence in separation
of Coulomb interaction from the scattering length and effective range for the
S-wave proton-proton scattering.Comment: 23 pages, 6 eps figures, revised considerably, accepted for

Although previous researchers have noted that forms of Kango (words borrowed from Chinese) which are the same in modern Korean and Japanese derive from Nihonkango (words created from Chinese words in Japan) which were adopted into Korean from Japanese, but there has been little research on how this actually came about. In this paper I investigate the frequency in use of Kango and Nihonkango when Nihonkango were introduced in to Korean for the first time. Based on an analysis of the first textbooks (Kokumin shogaku dokuhon) and newspapers (Dokuritsu shimbun) issued from 1895 to 1986, I found that ; 66.0% (2393 words) of the total 3621 Kango words used in these textbooks and newspapers were the same forms of Kango as those used in Japan at that time. I validated the usage of 2290 words with the same meaning in various materials in China, Japan and Korea, and found that 10% (229 words) of these words were Nihonkango at that time. These results suggest that there is a need for a more detailed factor analysis in order to understand the close relations between Kango and Nihonkango in Japan and Korea in the late 19th century
Development of Pd Alloy Hydrogen Separation Membranes with Dense/Porous Hybrid Structure for High Hydrogen Perm-Selectivity
For the commercial applications of hydrogen separation membranes, both high hydrogen selectivity and permeability (i.e., perm-selectivity) are required. However, it has been difficult to fabricate thin, dense Pd alloy composite membranes on porous metal support that have a pore-free surface and an open structure at the interface between the Pd alloy films and the metal support in order to obtain the required properties simultaneously. In this study, we fabricated Pd alloy hydrogen separation membranes with dense/porous hybrid structure for high hydrogen perm-selectivity. The hydrogen selectivity of this membrane increased owing to the dense and pore-free microstructure of the membrane surface. The hydrogen permeation flux also was remarkably improved by the formation of an open microstructure with numerous open voids at the interface and by an effective reduction in the membrane thickness as a result of the porous structure formed within the Pd alloy films
Point Mutation of Hoxd12 in Mice
Purpose: Genes of the HoxD cluster play a major role in vertebrate limb development, and changes that modify the Hoxd12 locus affect other genes also, suggesting that HoxD function is coordinated by a control mechanism involving multiple genes during limb morphogenesis. In this study, mutant phenotypes were produced by treatment of mice with chemical mutagen, N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea (ENU). We analyzed mutant mice exhibiting the specific microdactyly phenotype and examined the genes affected. Materials and Methods: We focused on phenotype characteristics including size, bone formation, and digit morphology of ENU-induced microdactyly mice. The expressions of several molecules were analyzed by genome-wide screening and quantitative real-time PCR to define the affected genes. Results: We report on limb phenotypes of an ENU-induced A-to-C mutation in the Hoxd12 gene, resulting in alanine-to-serine conversion. Microdactyly mice exhibited growth defects in the zeugopod and autopod, shortening of digits, a missing tip of digit I, limb growth affected, and dramatic increases in the expressions of Fgf4 and Lmx1b. However, the expression level of Shh was not changed Hoxd12 point mutated mice. Conclusion: These results suggest that point mutation rather than the entire deletion of Hoxd12, such as in knockout and transgenic mice, causes the abnormal limb phenotype in microdactyly mice. The precise nature of the spectrum of differences requires further investigation.link_to_subscribed_fulltex
